Whether it’s an odd job you need to be done around the house, something fixed quickly, or even minor home improvements, a handyman could be just what you need to help you out.
Getting a handyman in Auckland to help around the house is a great idea for multiple reasons. You don’t have to do the task yourself, which is ideal if you don’t have the time or tools. The other is that a handyman often has the skills (along with the necessary tools) to get the job done quickly and professionally. This means you can rest assured that what they fix won’t need more attention any time soon.
So, next time you need a handyman to help you out around the house, here are some of the skills you’ll find on the network of handymen on Ezy Peazy.
If you have multiple tasks that need doing, getting a handyman in to do them all – rather than multiple contractors who each do something specific – could end up being more effective in terms of both time and cost. That is because most handymen tend to be a ‘Jack of all Trades’, who can turn their hand to any odd job you may need doing and do it well. Whether you need help painting your back fence, fixing a hole in your wall, or clearing your gutters, a handyman you find on Ezy Peazy can help you out.
Hanging a television on your wall isn’t as simple as it may seem. You need the right bracket to fit your TV and make sure it’s mounted so the wall can support the weight of your TV. Getting this right needs some specialist equipment, like a drill, tape measure, level, and a stud finder. Some television and wall mounting experience is needed too, so you can be confident your heavy TV is anchored to a wall stud that can bear its weight.
If you lack the tools, skills, or experience to hang your television or anything heavy on your wall, a professional handyman from Ezy Peazy can help. They will have all the necessary tools and skills to install your television, soundbar, computer monitor, or dryer, and hang it safely on the wall.
If you’re unsure about hanging something on your wall, or want to make sure it’s done right the first time, hiring a handyman in Auckland through Ezy Peazy is a reliable and cost-effective solution. They will have the necessary tools and skills to safely and securely hang a shelf, picture, mirror, or any other object on the wall.
Drywall repairs require various speciality tools, materials, and skills. And, like most other home repairs jobs, if you’re not experienced, it could result in an unprofessional looking job, which will be quite noticeable.

Hi there, I’m looking to get a quote for installing a gun safe at my home. I’ve attached a photo for reference. The installation requires removing the skirting board first, then securing the safe with four screws—two into the wall and two into the floor. Please let me know the estimated cost and availability. Thanks!
“Perfect work! Detail-oriented and did a beautiful job. The finishing were excellent, and left the place very clean. Highly recommended Mark”
I have a polyweave roll that is approximately 50m x 2m. This needs to be cut into 50cm x 50cm sections.
“Excellent comms and timing. Job well done.”
Hi there, I need help repairing a broken support rail on my queen-sized wooden bed base. The rail that holds the slats has split and is no longer supporting the slats properly. I still have the broken piece, but it may need replacing or reinforcing. The support rail measures approximately 190 cm (length) x 3 cm (width) x 3 cm (height). Ideally, I’d like someone who can: • Assess the damage and recommend the best fix • Supply and install a new rail (if needed) • Ensure the slats are properly supported and the bed is stable The bed is partially disassembled and accessible. I’m based in Henderson, Auckland, and am flexible with timing—sooner is better, but I can work around your schedule. Open to quotes—please include materials and labour in your estimate. The last 3 photos show the broken piece and where it was attached. The other two photos show how it looks on the opposite side, where the support is still intact. Thanks
“Excellent Service! Posted the job last night and Peter had our bed fixed today (so happy)! Communication was clear and prompt throughout, super efficient and reliable. Highly recommend!”

These include: Hanging up some art (to hang one piece it will require a ladder) Hanging up the tv Adding a bolt to a gate Hammering in a loose plank of wood Putting it some toilet roll holders Maybe fixing a bit of a dodgy gate door It would be good to get a rough quote on what you think this might cost. Cheers

A handyman can take care of a wide range of small home repairs and improvements — from installing letterboxes, clotheslines, and shelves to fixing doors, windows, and plaster. It’s a simple way to get several jobs done at once without calling multiple trades.
Prices vary depending on the job size and materials needed, but most handymen charge an hourly rate or a fixed price for specific tasks. You can post your job on Ezy Peazy to get free quotes and choose the best option for your budget.
Yes, most handymen bring their own tools and basic supplies. If your job requires a specific item, such as paint, fittings, or parts, they’ll usually notify you beforehand so you can decide whether to provide it or have them include it in the quote.
Absolutely. Many people hire one handyman to tackle a few small jobs in one visit — it’s often quicker and more cost-effective than hiring separate trades for each task.
