Ezy Peazy was born out of our own frustration with the difficulty of finding reliable assistance. We struggled to navigate through Google, TradeMe, and Facebook communities for services, often wasting time and energy with no guarantee of results.
A quick survey revealed that other New Zealanders had similar experiences, so we set out to create a better way. It was only some weeks later that we discovered we weren't the first to think about the gig economy, but many founders had tried and failed in New Zealand.
Despite the odds, we persevered. With our technical IT backgrounds, we built the strongest app-based on-demand service platform in New Zealand.
Over the past five+ years, we've learned a lot by running a real marketplace in New Zealand — from connecting customers and workers to improving the technology, marketplace operations and overall experience.
