Our Story & Journey

Ezy Peazy was born out of our own frustration with the difficulty of finding reliable assistance. We struggled to navigate through Google, TradeMe, and Facebook communities for services, often wasting time and energy with no guarantee of results.

A quick survey revealed that other New Zealanders had similar experiences, so we set out to create a better way. It was only some weeks later that we discovered we weren't the first to think about the gig economy, but many founders had tried and failed in New Zealand.

Despite the odds, we persevered. With our technical IT backgrounds, we built the strongest app-based on-demand service platform in New Zealand.

Ezy Peazy is simple: request literally ANYTHING (within the law) you need done around the home, office, or business, and locals in your area will make offers based on the information you've provided. You can then check their previous reviews and verifications, accept their offer, have the work completed ASAP, and the funds are deposited straight into the worker's bank account.

Running a B2C business has presented us with steep learning curves, but we've nailed every department. We're committed to continuous improvement and growth, which is reflected by our frequent website and mobile app updates every fortnight.

We've learned from the failures of others, and we're determined to make Ezy Peazy the most successful gig economy platform in New Zealand.

With a solid foundation in Auckland and a successful expansion to Christchurch in the past year, we are ambitiously scaling to Wellington and Hamilton, leveraging our organic SEO expertise and strength.

While we have been entirely bootstrapped and have yet to reach break-even, our growth is undeniable. We are actively seeking seed or angel investors interested in collaborating as active or silent partners.
