Regardless of your backyard's size, there's a clothesline solution for you. If you have ample space, a rotary clothesline or Hills Hoist clothesline would be perfect, providing sufficient room for multiple laundry loads. These options are ideal for handling large amounts of washing.
For those with limited space, consider installing a retractable clothesline or a folding washing line against a wall or fence. These alternatives can be conveniently folded away when not in use, allowing you to reclaim your space.
To ensure your clothesline's stability and safety, proper installation is crucial. For rotary or hoist clotheslines, a concrete base must be set in the ground to prevent tipping. Wall-mounted folding or retractable clotheslines should be securely fastened to the wall to prevent accidents or damage. By seeking the assistance of an expert handyman, you can rely on their tools and expertise to ensure a smooth and secure installation of your chosen clothesline. Make laundry drying a breeze by entrusting the task to a skilled professional found on Ezy Peazy Auckland.
If your washing line wires have become stretched and saggy over time, opt for rewiring instead of replacing the entire line. Ezy Peazy can connect you with professional handymen specializing in rewiring clotheslines. Whether you have a rotary, retractable, or folding clothesline, a local handyman can help you get it rewired, saving you money and reducing waste. Choose sustainability and affordability by finding a handyman on Ezy Peazy to rewire your clothesline today.
A professional handyman in Auckland can assist in installing a new rotary clothesline in your backyard. Select the optimal location, as they will need to dig a hole where the clothesline's pole will be anchored. Once the spot is chosen, the handyman will dig the hole and position the clothesline's pole, ensuring it is perfectly straight using spirit levels.
The handyman will fill the void with a mixture of concrete, gravel, and water. After the concrete sets, they will complete the installation by attaching the clothesline head and extending it.
If your clothesline has experienced wear and tear, including issues like non-functional retracting, faulty catches, bent arms or poles, rusting parts, or a malfunctioning hoist, don't rush to replace it just yet. Instead, turn to Ezy Peazy Auckland to find a local handyman who can help restore your clothesline. Located In Flatbush, Auckland. The existing hills clothesline needs to be taken out of the hole it is currently sitting in, in the ground. There seems to be a sleeve it is in, but it must be concreted in. We have tried to pull it out ourselves but it won't budge. We have already purchased a new hills clothesline, which we'd like put back in where the old one is currently. It is brand new, came with a plastic type sleeve for in ground use, but we think the new sleeve is supposed to be concreted in for stability. It is located in our back yard, flat surface right next to the concrete pad, easy access to water & power. We're hoping there's an expert out there that can help get our old clothesline out, and new clothesline up and running. And most importantly, stable. Thank you
“Mark is great in every way. Communication was perfect, showed up when he said he would and did such neat & tidy work. It was a big job digging up concrete, pulling out the old line & replacing it with the new line and fresh concrete. He left the space immaculate. 200% would use Mark again!”
We need the line rewired as there has been a breakage on the outside line
