2. William’s Eatery, Wynyard Corner

William’s Eatery is an excellent family-owned cafe on Wynyard Corner. Williams Eatery strives to use local, seasonal, organic and free-range ingredients of the highest quality. They are also very serious about coffee, brewing up one of the best cups of coffee you’ll find in Auckland. Their coffee is 100% organic and ethically sourced and comes in 100% compostable packaging.

The cafe is wonderfully set out with clean minimal decor of concrete floors and wooden furnishings with an outdoor area. The best part is, they are right across the road from a car park, taking away the headache of city travel (Currently the first hour is also free!). Plus they actually take bookings, so you can be sure to secure a table.

3. Chuffed, Auckland CBD

Chuffed is an inner-city cafe tucked down a corridor off High Street. It is home to some of the best breakfast options that the CBD has to offer.

For city workers, Chuffed is a favourite spot for coffee lovers to recluse and rejoice.

This delightful cafe comes from the same crowd behind Winona Forever (also featured on this list!), so you know you are in for a treat. Rude Boy is located on the wonderful Sale Street and features a spacious and simply stunning fit-out.

5. Dear Jervois, Herne Bay

This list would not be complete without including Dear Jervois! This cafe has been a favourite on the Auckland brunch scene for years now and they continue to not disappoint.
