Why Connects?

Establish quick communication

Connects provide a quick way to develop a connection between Posters and Taskers via a phone call or any other preferred method of communication to discuss the scope of the task in detail and arrange a visit, if needed.

Quality offers

To ensure Taskers only apply to tasks which are relevant and most suited to their skills & expertise. It is our initiative to prevent Taskers spamming Posters with offers.

Leverage Experience

If a new Tasker on ezy peazy has an established business with an extended record of quality work, they will be able to leverage their existing website, Google reviews, Facebook page and other social media channels with ezy peazy Connects. This will give the Poster confidence in the credibility and abilities of the Taskers making offers on their jobs, leading to Taskers winning more jobs quickly.

How Do Ezy Peazy Connects Work?

Taskers may use Connects to share their contact details when submitting offers for any jobs listed on ezy peazy.

The number of Connects required to make an offer which includes contact details depends on the amount of the offer.

A Tasker can still make an offer without using any Connects, but it will be submitted without any contact details which is advisable for simple tasks.

The Poster will be able to see the Tasker has included contact details in their offer after it has been made. If the Poster chooses to ‘unlock’ the Tasker's contact details, the Tasker will be notified. It is up to the Poster whether they contact the Tasker or not.

Best Practices for Using Connects

1. Use Connects on ‘GUARANTEED’ tasks

Don’t spend Connects on EVERY bid. Withdrawing your offer will not return them.

‘GUARANTEED’ tasks are tasks that you know you can complete without a shadow of a doubt. These are the tasks that you can go over and above for when it comes to quality, communication and will surpass the expectations of the Poster.

2. Check when the job was posted

You don’t want to waste your Connects by using them on a task posted days ago with no subsequent client activity. These types of tasks are likely to fall through and result in your Connects being wasted.

Before deciding to apply to an older job, review the Poster’s activity on the task. Check if they have been recently replying to comments and offers.

Poster activity on the task plays a vital role in helping you decide which tasks to use Connects on.

3. Earn more Connects

The only way to get more is to complete jobs via ezy peazy.

4. Create an eye-catching profile

Update your profile with a quality display picture, keep all your details up to date and be sure to fill in the ‘Professional Details’ section of your profile (via your dashboard). This will help Posters make an informed decision.

5. Gain as many reviews as possible

To increase the number of reviews you receive, always ask the Poster for a review after you complete a job. Your profile will display these reviews which make future prospective Posters aware of your skills, standards and experience.

6. Only use Connects on more complicated tasks

Don’t waste Connects on smaller jobs where the scope of the work is straightforward. Examples of straightforward tasks include:

Lawn mowing

Small delivers

Weeding

Small furniture assembly

Save your Connects for bigger jobs that are more complex. More complicated tasks can include:

Roofing

Painting

Larger handyman tasks

Carpentry

Use Connects on tasks where the scope of the work needs to be more thoroughly described and requires a site visit.
