At ezy peazy, we’re always working on making our community as secure as possible for everyone.
To make sure ezy peazy is a professional, secure marketplace that posters can trust, we are now requiring all Taskers to verify their identity.
How does being ID Verified help?
The ID Verification badge is confirmation that an ezy peazy member’s identity has been verified via our third-party verification provider, Cloudcheck.
The badge is a secure way for our Taskers to prove they are who they say they are online, building trust in the ezy peazy community.
Our ID verification process checks that a member’s details on ezy peazy match their legal documents. The Taskers’ personal details are not made public on the platform, however, they will have been confirmed by Cloudcheck.

How do I earn this badge?
To get the Badge on your profile, simply complete the application process in your Dashboard. Navigate to Verification -> Identity Verification. If successful our Digital ID Verification Badge will be displayed on your profile.
Keep your passport or driver’s licence close by during the application - you’ll need it!
Things you'll need:
● Valid passport or driver's licence.
● A camera on your phone or laptop to take a photo of your face during the verification process. Ensure you aren’t wearing any sunglasses, hats or other face coverings.
How long does it take to verify?
All going to plan, the process takes just 5 minutes.
In some cases, we may need more time to review the submitted information. This can take 1 to 2 days. We encourage Taskers to get verified as soon as they can to avoid a hold on their account.
You could be organising a party one day and mowing someone’s lawn the next.
How are you keeping the information I share safe?
Access to the personal information you submit to ezy peazy to verify your identity is protected in line with our privacy policy.
Our third-party ID verification provider, Cloudcheck, retains information collected from ezy peazy taskers for 7 days for auditing and error checking purposes. Following this 7-day period, the data is automatically and securely removed from its systems. We will never sell any of the information you submit to us.
What happens if I do not pass the verification process?
If you do not pass the identity verification process with Cloudcheck, ezy peazy will manually verify your identity.
Scan the following documents and email them to contact@ezypeazy.co.nz :
● A clear photo of your face without any sunglasses and hats
● ID Proof (Drivers License or Passport)
Once your identity has been verified manually, we will add the ID Badge to your profile.
Can photo-matching guarantee a Tasker’s identity?
If you’re asked to take a photo of yourself, we’ll match this photo with the picture in your provided passport or driver's license. This helps us make sure you are who you say you are.
Photo matching provides useful info, but no face matching process is always completely accurate. The effectiveness of a comparison of facial features can vary greatly based on:
● The skill and judgement of the reviewer,
● The quality and resolution of the photos,
● Whether there are significant changes in a person’s appearance between the two photos (for example, change in age, change in weight, change in clothing).
As a result, this process may sometimes 'match' photos that are not in fact of the same person or fail to match photos that are of the same person. Fraudulent individuals may circumvent even the most sophisticated and diligent efforts to match photos submitted for comparison.
We don’t make any guarantee about the accuracy or effectiveness of photo-matching results. Posters shouldn’t rely on completion of the photo matching process as a guarantee of someone’s identity, or a guarantee that they’re someone you can safely interact with.
Can an ID Badge Verified Tasker be trusted?
Our ID verification process is not a criminal background check or a credit check.
It’s simply a way for Taskers on the platform to prove they are who they say they are online.
