Leak detection and water leak repair in Glen Eden

Summary

The homeowner in Glen Eden, Auckland needed a leak detection service followed by plumbing repairs to stop a persistent water leak, and asked for the cheapest quote. Because the leak could be anywhere on the property it was clear up front that quoting would be difficult until the source was located; the poster also mentioned they had posted the job on Builderscrack. Two offers were received and the customer selected an offer for $150. The chosen offer proposed to locate the leak first and then provide a separate repair quote if needed, which matched the customer’s requirement to keep initial costs low. The agreed outcome was to find and fix the water leak. The job was completed and the customer left a 3‑star review citing poor communication and difficulty getting hold of the tradesperson.
