Removed Old TV Aerial From Roof in Remuera

Summary

A customer in Remuera, Auckland posted a job on 26 January 2025 to remove an old, unused TV aerial that had come loose on the roof. The key requirements were clear: remove the aerial, avoid any damage to the roof and waterproof the area to prevent leaks. Because the aerial was old, the job needed specialised tools and a careful approach. Five offers arrived and the customer selected the $250 offer. The handyman was assigned on 27 January 2025 and used the correct equipment to unbolt and lift the aerial safely, tidy up mounting fixings and seal all penetrations. Waterproofing was applied to the fillings so the roof remained watertight after removal, and a quick inspection confirmed no leaks. The job was completed on 29 January 2025; the customer gave a five-star rating and wrote: "Excellent service. Turned up on time, quick, efficient and informative."
