Wall-mounted dryer removal, pickup and installation in Remuera

Summary

The owner needed an old Simpson 4kg dryer taken down from its wall bracket, a new Westinghouse WDV picked up 3 km away from Magnus Benrow, and the new dryer wall-mounted with the old unit disposed of. Key requirements included using the same wall brackets, connecting the existing venting kit, the owner being present for delivery, and a female flatmate able to help with lifting. A steep driveway and delivery via a flatmate’s room were noted as access challenges. Five offers came in and the chosen offer amount was 180. The job progressed from scheduling around the owner’s preference for Monday morning/early afternoon to completing the pickup, safe transfer up the driveway and final installation. The customer left a five-star review noting the crew were punctual, reliable and hung the dryer within an hour.
