Removed Soil Around City Council Manhole in Remuera

Summary

Clearing the city council manhole in Remuera involved removing approximately 30cm of soil from an 80cm square recessed area so the customer's plumber could access the manhole. The concrete lid needed to remain intact and undisturbed, with the soil to be bucketed or shovelled out and moved by wheelbarrow to the driveway or spread around the garden under the plants. The task received seven offers and was assigned for $150. The customer needed the work completed in time for their plumber, and the assigned professional accommodated the requested timing. The local professional excavated carefully around moist, uneven soil and visible pooling, taking care not to disturb the concrete lid. Soil was bucketed and wheelbarrowed along the path and spread where requested, restoring clear manhole access. The job earned a 5/5 rating, and the customer noted the professional was accommodating to the plumber's timing and even brought his daughter, who helped in the garden. Access for the plumbing work was restored, and the area was left clean and ready for the next steps.
