Summary
The customer needed a California king mattress (approximately 2m x 2m and 30cm thick), and the base moved up to the second floor of a townhouse in Wigram, Christchurch. Important requirements were assistance with loading and unloading, a vehicle capable of transporting a mattress that large and careful handling to avoid damage to walls and furnishings. The poster agreed to an extra $20 to cover the additional effort required. The task attracted 4 offers, and the selected offer was $80. The poster confirmed vehicle details before the job; one offer listed a 1-man tow wagon and enclosed trailer, which suited the size of the bed. With extra hands, the crew moved the mattress and split base up one flight of stairs, protected surrounding surfaces and completed the job without damage. The customer left a highly positive review and gave a 5-star rating.

Highly recommend Nic! He helped me move a huge, heavy mattress up to the second floor and even repaired the paint on the wall for me afterward. He was super friendly, helpful, and easy to work with throughout the whole job. Everything went smoothly and stress-free. Really appreciate the extra effort. Thanks so much, Nic!
