Furniture moved for bedroom and hallway carpet installation

Summary

The customer needed furniture moved within their Mount Eden, Auckland apartment so rugs and underlay could be fitted in a bedroom and the hallway. The scope required two experienced movers to disassemble and later reassemble a superking slat bed frame, shift a heavy mattress, move a tallboy and two nightstands, slide a sideboard for a smaller rug, lift a hallway chest for underlay, and tip a tall cabinet through into the lounge. Coordination with the carpet installers and the customer’s inability to assist with lifting were key constraints, and the work might be split into two visits. The job sat in scoping while timing was arranged (anticipated within 4–6 weeks). Nine offers were received and the selected offer was $205. The task was completed as agreed and the customer left a five‑star review praising great communication, care with furniture and flexibility.
