Summary
The customer needed three 1500 x 900 x 4mm mirrors hung in a home gym/dance area, and the wall was painted concrete block, so finding a reliable mounting method was important. Key requirements were to use appropriate fixings and to consider alternatives such as glue to plywood backing or discrete J-channels, while ensuring the mirrors would be level and secure on the block surface. The job attracted 3 offers, and the selected offer was $330. The poster and the installer discussed the pros and cons of glue-to-plywood versus top-and-bottom j-channels and agreed on the best-suited approach for the painted concrete block. The customer was willing to purchase any required materials, and the installer included fixings in the quoted price. The mirrors were properly hung and securely fixed as agreed, meeting the poster’s requirements in St Heliers, Auckland. The customer left a positive rating (5) and a favourable review following completion.

Have purchased 3 wall mirrors (1500 x 900 x 4mm) to have in home gym / dance area. Concrete block wall - looking for handyman to work with to decide best hanging options (eg glue to plywood cut to size and then hang to level screw fixings). I'm happy to purchase required materials
