install new mailbox

Hi，my old mailbox is rust. I bought a new mailbox from bunnings and find out theres one nail rust into the post. and my post is too small for the mailbox need to draw another hole on mailbox. I would like to know how much if I want a new post and how much if just took the nail out and help me install the mailbox i bought. Thanks
