Raised Parcel and Letterbox Installed into Concrete

Summary

The customer needed a parcel/letterbox set into concrete and raised for easier access at their home in Burnside, Christchurch. They asked for the old letterbox to be removed while keeping the hanging number sign, and for concrete to be brought and laid to create a higher, more accessible mounting pad. Timing was flexible but preferred within the next few weeks, and most offers noted materials would be provided except the mailbox itself. Five offers came in and the job was accepted for $190. The agreed plan was followed: the old box was carefully removed, the number sign preserved, a boxed-up raised concrete pad was poured and finished, and the new parcel/letterbox was securely fastened once the concrete had set. The customer left a five-star review praising the excellent work, fast response and creative, efficient approach.
