Summary
The customer needed help organising a garage and workshop full of tools, electronic parts and cables, and wanted a practical layout they could use for hobbies such as electronics, home automation and woodworking. Time was limited because of a full-time job, and the customer asked for help with heavy lifting and a layout design. They had a budget for extra shelving and peg boards and planned to set up a garden shed for overflow storage in West Harbour, Auckland. Six offers came in, and the selected offer of $550 covered designing the layout, putting up shelves and peg boards, and sorting cables into drawers and storage boxes with clear labels. The task progressed from an initial walkthrough to focused sorting and installation, leaving the garage organised with labelled tools and cables. The customer left a positive response and a 5-star rating.

Chris did an amazing job with cleaning and organizing my garage, it looks amazing now! It was a lot of work but he completed the job very quickly. I’m excited to start working on some more projects here. Thank you so much!

I moved to a new place a little while ago and still haven't properly unpacked everything or put everything in the right place. I have a few hobbies, like electronics, home automation, woodworking, etc. so I've got lots of tools and parts to organize. Have spent quite a few evenings sorting through boxes, and now I'm getting really tired of losing stuff and not having things properly organized. I want to sort out all my tools and gadgets, and need some help with arranging my workshop, putting shelves in the right place, putting up some peg boards, etc. I'm about to put up a garden shed this weekend, so we'll be able to move quite a few things into there and clear up some space. But I work full-time and don't have enough energy to get it done during the evenings. I'm looking for someone to help me this all organised, and who can also help me design the layout of my workshop and put things in the right place. You will need to have some understanding of tools, electronic components, and some IT stuff, just so you know roughly what things are and where they should go. I can answer questions but would like to be able to leave you to it for the most part. I also do have a budget to buy some extra shelving or peg boards. One example is to sort all my cables into different drawers and storage boxes. All kinds of USB cables, HDMI, power leads, and various other wires. Then I want to print out some labels for everything. (I've got a printer and some label sticker sheets, and also have a label maker.) Cheers
