Hello, we are in the process of moving from Riverhead to Dairy Flat (12.5kms). At this stage, we are only interested in moving one item but this will be a unique job. The item to be moved is a drum booth (sound isolation booth) currently fully assembled. In order to move, we will first need (two of) your help in disassembling the booth. Once disassembled, there will be a total of 28 large & heavy panels plus many joineries and small parts. Each of the 28 panels is around 1.2m L x 1.2m H x 10cm D and weighs around 45-60kgs depending on which type of panel it is. The panels that contain heavy double glazed glass for soundproofing would be heavier than the normal wall type panels. The total weight of the booth when it arrived here last year was 1,468kgs including 2 large pallets. Here is a YouTube video sample of this particular booth being assembled. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kv6kENwa4wI Disassembly would be the opposite process of assembly. When it arrived, there were two large pallets: 1360mm x 1200mm x 1630mm 750kg 1360mm x 1200mm x 1920mm 680kg Plus two small parcels: 2320mm x 160mm x 130mm 21.5kg 2320mm x 240mm x 240mm 17kg Plus, we will need your help moving the drum kit as well. We will need two of your help in disassembling the booth, loading all parts safely to your truck, moving it to our new address, and assembling it back. The above data should hopefully give you enough information for you to work out how much space you require, how long the job would take for your team and etc. As for the move date, the sooner the better. I would estimate it would take about 60-90 mins to disassemble the booth, 30 mins for the transportation, then 3-4 hours assembling. We would like two energetic, positive & friendly two men team to apply. Oh, you will also need a moving truck that’s at least large enough to move all the contents described above. Thank you.
