Fixing a Queen Bed with Bent Screws

Summary

The customer needed a queen bed fixed properly—some screws appeared bent and the frame wasn’t secure, and they asked for the job to be done ASAP. They emphasised the bed was “as it is in the photos” and wanted someone to check the condition and revise quotes accordingly before proceeding. Three offers came in and the customer accepted an offer of $70 after requesting a quote review. The agreed scope was straightforward: tighten and repair the bent screws and ensure the bed was stable. The work progressed from the initial request through the offer and quote-check stage to the hands-on repair, with the screws tightened and the frame secured to the agreed outcome. The job was completed in Woolston, Christchurch, and the customer left a positive response with a 5-star rating.
