Summary
A homeowner in Mount Albert, Auckland asked for a camelia removed after they'd already reduced the top and left a single trunk and the roots. They'd started digging out the root ball but ran out of steam, and the brief was clear: finish what was started by extracting the root ball without chasing every root or digging a large pit. Trunk and stump removal was optional — the poster asked that any estimate state whether that extra could be done. The job drew three offers; several mentioned green-waste disposal as part of their service. The homeowner selected an offer of $180. The team finished the digging, extracted the remaining root ball and left the area tidy, with trunk and stump removal available as an extra if agreed. The customer responded with a positive rating of 5 and a short "Thanks!" in their review.

I want a camelia removed. I've done all the top just leaving one trunk and the roots. I started digging but I gave up before it did :( The job is to remove the root ball, no need to chase roots or dig a big pit, just finish what's started. Optional extra: if you have the ability to remove the trunk and stump from the site then I'm interested but this is not required. Let me know in your estimate whether you'll do this.
